FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Can I buy tickets ahead of time?

Yes! Tickets are available now on our website. Tickets will also be sold at the entry gate. There are no refunds.

May people under 21 attend and is there a different fee?

Those under 21 years of age may attend and will be given a different wristband identifying them as underage for drinking purposes. The ticket price is the same.

Does our designated driver need to pay to get in?

Yes, the entry fee includes much more than just the wine tastings. Jazz bands perform throughout the day and each guest has access to a variety of restaurant and artisan vendors as well as the wineries.

Is there a shuttle?

Yes! The shuttle will run on both days of the festival from the WVU Mountainlair during festival hours. Some local hotels may provide shuttle service. Check with your hotel about that option.

Is there seating?

There are a limited number of chairs within our tented area. We encourage you to bring your own outdoor folding chair or blanket to sit upon to enjoy the venue.

Can I bring my dog/pet?

Pets are not allowed on the 4-H grounds property with the exception of service animals. All service animals must be properly identified.

I have allergies, may I bring my own food?

No outside food or beverages are allowed into the festival grounds. With the variety of participating restaurants available you should be able to find food items that meet your needs.

How can I Volunteer to help during the festival? It looks like so much fun.

Our WV W&J volunteers have tons of fun and it is a great way to help our community! We have a variety of volunteers. Please complete the volunteer form on our website to express your interest. Our Volunteer Coordinator will get in touch I with you.

Does the festival still go on if it rains?

Yes! We have been open rain or shine for over 25 years.

Are children allowed at the festival?

Children are welcome on the property, however they must be supervised at all times. Please keep in mind that this is an adult focused festival and that there are no activities set up for children. Please remember to drink responsibly when you are driving precious cargo!
